On Thursday, December 19, Saint Elizabeth Skete celebrated the feast of Saint Nicholas. This was the second time we were able to celebrate the feast in the renovated chapel.

Hieromonk Cyprian from Holy Trinity Monastery led the Divine Liturgy. The newly remodeled chapel quickly filled up with worshippers.

In the name of Father Luke, abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery, Father Cyprian presented the Abbess with an icon and a relic of St. Maria Gatchina for the chapel.

Divine Liturgy was followed by the traditional festal reception. Archimandrite Luke was later able to joined the sisters and their guests for tea and refreshments.
